I’m a graduate of the Professional Writing program at York College of Pennsylvania, class of 2022. Since July of 2025 I’ve been serving as the Assistant to the Township Manager for Hellam Township, PA.
I have a passion for writing in multiple fields, including interviews, creative writing, and blogging. I have extensive experience with writing for blogs, social media, magazines, websites and newspapers. I also have experience with basic photography and photo editing for social media, and I have worked with publishing as well.
In fall 2021, as part of my Professional Writing education, I completed my first internship with Calypso Editions, a virtual, nonprofit literary press. While I was with Calypso, I wrote and published social media content, interviewed author Anthony Bonds, and published a blog post on my interview with him.
From spring to fall 2022, I completed an independent internship with Celebrate Gettysburg Magazine, based out of Gettysburg, PA. At Celebrate Gettysburg, I created social media content, proofread articles, and collaborated on article ideas. I also published several articles with the magazine on various topics, ranging from interviews to historical pieces.
As part of my curriculum at York College at Pennsylvania, I received extensive experience in literary publishing. I was a website editor for fall 2021 for the online component of the college’s literary magazine, The York Review. In addition to my editing work for the publication, I also helped direct the social media accounts of the York Review. I was published twice on the website, and twice in the 28th volume. I also wrote a number of articles for the college’s newspaper, The Spartan, in fall 2021.
Additionally, as the Writer for the Communications Office at York College, I worked extensively with publishing to help produce York College Magazine, which was published twice a year. I primarily wrote content for the college’s website, including blog posts and series articles, but I also wrote articles for the annual Philanthropic Investment Report, released to the college’s donor list each year.
